Synergy, in general, may be defined as two or more things functioning together to produce a result not achievable when working independently. The term was coined by Buckminster Fuller, a theorist, architect, inventor and futurist. He was a remarkable man, born in 1895. He also coined the term “spaceship earth”. And, Spaceship Earth at EPCOT center in Orlando is based on his geodesic domes design.
Synergy introduces the possibility of third alternatives; momentum, multiplication, and creative collaboration through interaction. New dynamics are born; new insights emerge. Synergy is the realization of results obtained collaboratively that are not individually attinable.
In other words, 1 + 1 is at least 3.

Teamwork will produce an overall better result than if each person was working toward the same goal individually.
Each of us makes all of us better.
